Fieldstone, common to Cincinnati, was utilized in the repair of the existing walls and the new construction of proposed walls. Peacock paver tiles were selected for the pool deck surface. The tiles were mortared to the new structural concrete decking utilizing a drainage membrane between the slab and tiles. A natural gas fire pit was designed into the spa area adjacent to the pool house. Because fencing and gates are required for a pool enclosure, we designed the ornamental iron to echo the style of existing stainless steel guardrails located around the second level kitchen terrace. Everything was designed to be simple and sleek!
